Wow!!! This taco truck has excellent tacos at a great price! The service was friendly and quick, which is always a plus. I came on a hot day and tried their cucumber and lime agua fresca and it was fantastic! Super refreshing! The tacos were not underserved and the salsas were on point. I've tried a lot of taco trucks that look good but end up serving overly greasy foods and ok drinks but Tacos Pihuamo did not disappoint. What more can you ask for?? I highly recommend this spot!!

I play soccer at the Gilman fields late at night and saw the truck here for the first time. Thought I'd buy a burrito to eat for lunch the next day, ended up almost eating the entire thing even though I was about to play two soccer games before I managed to stop myself. Even got a little bag with some lime, peppers and radish to go. Ready to start coming to the field an hour early to eat here more often.

This is a food truck. The low down: Very friendly, delicious food, reasonable price. Staff was helpful in directing me to things to see in the surrounding area, and helping me select a delicious meal. Recommendation: Try the super taco. Very tasty. I recommend it with al pastor. The meat is very flavorful, and there's a lot going on. Some may want to try a regular taco first, just as a baseline, and go from there. They accept card, which is appreciated, as not all food trucks that I've visited do. Some may have experienced that, frustratingly, after ordering their food, which isn't fun; and one tends not to want to repeat that experience. There is seating on two concrete picnic tables and a drinking fountain, I suppose for those brave (or desperate) enough to drink out of a public fountain in the era of COVID-19. I paid $7 for the super taco and a cold drink.

Had two veggie tacos for $3, such a deal. I'd show you a picture but apparently Yelp does not let you associate a picture directly with a specific review. But I see a good example under photos from someone else. I'm giving Yelp 2 stars. Especially with their limited sort options that apparently put paid advertisers on top.

Woohoo! So glad we stumbled upon this tacos truck while on a bike ride along the NW Berkeley segment of the SF Bay Trail. The taco truck was parked just outside Golden Gate Fields, between the soccer/athletic field and the water. Tacos were $1.75, and they definitely don't skimp out on the fillings. They are fairly simple tacos--similar to other taco trucks in the Bay Area (they must all use the same menu board...). However, the wait wasn't long, there were picnic tables to use, and the food was good and cheap. Worth a stop if you're looking for a quick/cheap bite to eat and only have a handful of $s.

I have no idea why this place in not on Yelp! yet, and I felt the need to take the time to add them. This review is for their vegetarian offerings, I cannot vouch for their meat offerings, but they have the usual assortment of various pork, chicken and beef (tongue, cheek, etc). They do quesadillas, tostadas, burritos. tacos, nachos, etc. I've gotten their veggie tacos several times, and for $1.00 each they are bangin! (I think it's $1.25 for meat) Tasty beans, nice helpings of cheese, lettuce cilantro and salsa, and a really tasty sauce that gives it both a little bit of heat and a lot of flavor. The super veggie burrito was also a big fat steal for $5.00, but not as tasty as the tacos. The horchata is acceptable, not the best I've ever had, not the worst. Don't forget to ask for jalapeños and carrots on the side. They are open Monday-Friday 11-6 and 11-5 on Saturdays, so it's obviously more of a lunchtime/early dinner/snack spot. $2.00 for 2 tacos hits the spot at 3PM before soccer practice! I keep going to help my buddy coach his team, and I'm not sure if it's for altruistic purposes, or just so I can have an excuse to go by Tacos Pihuamo! There are picnic tables right there, right on the bay, so the view is awesome.
